Hardwood beams
The hardwood Azobe beam is the stable basis for building any construction. For example, it can be used to build a decking, a roof or for scaffolding. Azobe hardwood has a long lifespan of 30 years or more, and is highly suitable for underlayers under a decking.
Installation
With these beams you have to pre-drill with a countersink. You screw the screw through the hardwood beam. The head of the screw is on the surface of the beam. Attention, with this wood only 1 type of screw is suitable. We have the right type of screws that have enough power to keep the hardwood beam firmly in place.
The right screws for assembly
We recommend using our strong and special hardwood screws. In addition, we recommend that you choose a metal-coloured or black-coated screw. A dark black screw is less conspicuous and gives a more beautiful end result.
Our screws have been tested to ensure that they are strong enough to hold the hardwood in place. Certainly not all types of screws are strong enough to withstand these forces. That is why we advise you to buy our screws with them, so you have a GUARANTEE of success. Our screws will not rust or oxidise.

Hardwood foundation
These hardwood beams create a good foundation. If you are using these beams as an underlay under a decking, we recommend that the distance between the beams should not exceed 40 cm. For every square metre of decking, we recommend using 3 hardwood foundation posts. You can make anything with these hardwood beams.
