Post holders

Spiked post holders are available in various dimensions, post holder 15x15, post holder 9x9, post holder 7x7, post holder 7x7 and post holder 12x12.

A 12x12 post holder is made of steel or sheet metal. Later it undergoes an electrolytic treatment or gets galvanised. The post holders undergo these treatments to make them more sustainable. Both adjustable 12x12 post holders and normal spiked post holders that are put directly into the ground or concrete are made more sustainable. A post holder often stands on a concrete surface, at least if the 12x12 post holder is adjustable. The spiked shape of the 12x12 post holder goes directly into the ground, sometimes a bit of concrete is added for better stability. An adjustable 12x12 post holder is often used for partial roofs, verandas or garden houses. With this post holder, the construction is adjustable and levelled. This simplifies the construction and makes sure that the wood doesn't necessarily have to placed directly into the ground. Advantages of placing a concrete base is that you will need shorter holders or posts. And this saves you money. Ordering less wood equals spending less money. This will also increase the life expectancy of the construction significantly. If wood doesn't come in contact with the ground, it will be less quickly affected by bacteria and fungi.

A 15x15cm post holder, place with a 145x145 mm beam or post. A 9x9 post holder is placed with a 85x85 mm beam or post. A 7x7 post holder is placed with a 65x65 mm beam or post. A 12x12 post holder is placed with a 115x115 mm beam or post.

Adjustable post holders are made for beams or posts with a minimum size of 90x90 mm up to 150x150 mm. These post holders are not only adjustable in height but also the thickness of the post that will be installed is adjustable. You always install adjustable post holders on a concrete base.
